
In 1990, when the company was founded, the process of experimentation and manufacture of crèmes began. Most of them were single flavors reflecting the warmth and laid-back nature of the tropics but keeping the highest international quality standards for the global market.

COMPETITIVETY:
The manufacture of alcohol and liquors in general in Costa Rica is an exclusive monopoly of the national government. The “Fábrica Nacional de Licores”, is the only producer. This institution, undoubtedly, is the leader in the market and the biggest competitor.
There are a few other independent liquor producers who also have a slice of the market. Nevertheless, LICORES Y CREMAS LIZANO S. A. as an independent producer, is at the vanguard in quality and variety of liqueurs.
VARIABLES:
Our products are formulated from syrups with scrumptious flavors and aromas with an alcohol content between 40 and 80 grain (20 to 40%) and beautifully colored according to the kind of liqueur.
They are sold in major supermarkets, liquor stores and directly to hotels, restaurants and bars.
The products are bottled in 25.4 oz (750 ml) bottles, in 6.78 oz (200 ml) bottles and 2.03 oz (60 ml) miniatures.
Our products are distributed throughout the country by major liquor distributors who like ourselves, have trained personnel to insure arrival of the product on time and in good condition.

The message of our products is to be a Costa Rican product of very high quality, capable to compete in the international markets, and to satisfy the most refined and demanding palates at the lowest prices. The products have the backing of a business with a name and prestige among the national food industries.
